OOMD is a multidisciplinary project born out of an aesthetic and poetic impulse, as well as a fascination with materiality. It seeks to celebrate and elevate the often plentiful and overlooked natural materials around us—stones that litter our paths, empty shells studded along beaches and coasts, or a fallen leaf or branch.
After all, nature is a cabinet of curiosities. And it only takes looking—looking deeply—to unearth these wonders. Through the process of foraging, tinkering, arranging and combining, the materials are recontextualised to create wearables, small objects, assemblages and collages. This universe is ever-expansive as nature presents us with endless forms and materials.
